Women honored at 4th annual Phenomenal Black Women Luncheon

The fourth annual Phenomenal Black Women Luncheon honored outstanding members of the Westchester community Saturday in New Rochelle.

The event attracted a crowd of notables and awardees. Linda Tarrant-Reid received the Phenomenal Woman Award for Community Service.

"I've been doing a lot of community work with the Community Garden and now with the History & Culture Center, that will be located in the new downtown area in New Rochelle," said Tarrant-Reid. "This is my passion, helping the community."

Other awards honored people for educational leadership and youth leadership.
