Posted: Updated:

Police say three people were injured in two separate shootings in New Rochelle in less than 24 hours.

Authorities say a 23-year-old woman and 24-year-old man were shot on Friday night near Winthrop Avenue.

Officials say they were taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

No arrests have been made in that case.

On Saturday afternoon, a man was shot in the leg during a dispute. Police say a 21-year-old in that case is now facing assault charges.
