State police are asking for the public’s help to find whoever is responsible for fatally shooting and disposing of a dog in the Town of Gallatin.

State police are asking for the public’s help to find whoever is responsible for fatally shooting and disposing of a dog in the Town of Gallatin.
The approximately 2-year-old German shepherd was found last Sunday near the shoulder of Silvernails Road by a local resident.
It was reported to the dog warden officer who contacted State Police after noticing a bullet wound.
The New York Humane Association is offering $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of whoever is responsible.
State police are urging anyone with information to call them at 845-677-7379.
