A Yonkers library is getting a makeover, thanks to a state grant.
The Will Library in Yonkers is being awarded $25,000 for a new renovation project.
Local officials say it is a major step toward modernizing a piece of the Yonkers community.
"This grant will be utilized to renovate this existing facility to bring it into the 21st century. To make sure it's being utilized. It's being well-maintained. And it’s up to date,” says Nader J. Sayegh, Yonkers assemblyman of the 90th District.
Renovations will include transforming community rooms and conducting a study on creating more floor space for future programs.
