The archbishop of New York made a special visit to a school in Port Chester to bless its pre-K.
Cardinal Timothy Dolan helped celebrate the first year of pre-K at the Corpus Christi School.
"It's amazing to see these classrooms, how creatively they're able to use play, sound, color, writing and activities to teach," said Cardinal Dolan.
The archdiocese and Port Chester public schools are providing up to 210 children with the opportunity for education through pre-K.
The school building was vacant for two years before being brought back to life during the summer of 2019, just in time for this school year. It's part of a $2 million project.
