New Rochelle student tests positive for common strain of coronavirus; not the strain spreading worldwide

A New Rochelle student has tested positive for the common strain of the coronavirus.
A letter sent to parents said the Albert Leonard middle schooler has the strain N-L 63, which most people will get in their lives.
It is not the strain that has been rapidly spreading around the world.
Superintendent Laura Feijoo said in a statement, "We ask parents of any children who are feeling severe cold or flu-like symptoms to please keep your children home until they feel better. In an abundance of caution, this evening we are cleaning and disinfecting surfaces within the school."
