Grief counseling sessions were held Saturday in Pleasantville in the wake of a murder-suicide that has rocked the community.
Officials say Tom Liu killed his wife Dorothy Liu and their two children, 7-year-old Tennyson Liu and 4-year-old Adeline Liu, with a knife - before turning the knife on himself.
The family's bodies were found in their home on Romer Avenue earlier this week during a wellness check after officials noticed the children were missing from school.
About 200 people showed up to Bedford Elementary School Saturday for the grief counseling sessions.
The district says anyone in the community who is struggling to cope with the incident or grappling with questions about how to talk to children about it is asked to contact the district's office.
Police say they do not have a motive for the killings, and that there were no reports of domestic violence at the home.
They say that interviews revealed Tom Liu was under a lot of stress. Police say he worked for MUFG, a well-known Japanese bank.
MUFG released a statement saying in part, "We are greatly saddened by the tragic loss of Tom Liu and his family. Our thoughts and deepest sympathies go out to their family, friends and colleagues during this most difficult time."
