Young patients at Maria Fieri Children's Hospital participated in some holiday fun Friday.
Festivities including musical performances and dancing in a decorated lobby kept smiles on the children's faces.
The event was organized by the Heavenly Productions Foundation, an organization that provides resources and entertainment for needy children.
In addition to the performances, the organization also gave away presents to the children.
Former New York Knick John Wallace is a board member of the organization. He says he didn't always get gifts as a child, but enjoys giving them as an adult.
"Come here to try to put smiles on kids' faces that are going through some troubling or trying times in terms of an illness or surgery they may need," Wallace said. "Get their mind and their families' minds off of what they going through for a minute."
This year marks the fourth annual performance hosted by the hospital.
