Section 1 will be sending five teams to the state final four for the first time since the state volleyball playoffs began in the late 1980s.
This week Ossining, Hendrick Hudson, Ardsley, Valhalla and Haldane are preparing for the semifinals on Saturday by scrimmaging against each other.
All of the teams will hop on a bus Friday and head to Glen Falls for the semifinals on Saturday. If they advance, they will play the state volleyball championship on Sunday.
