Community remembers Haverstraw woman dedicated to helping domestic violence victims

A funeral service was held Saturday for a domestic violence advocate from the Hudson Valley.
Carolyn Fish died Nov. 7 at 71 years old.
She was the former executive director for the Center for Safety and Change in Rockland County.
Six months ago, the Haverstraw resident was the first inductee into the new Rockland Women Leaders Hall of Fame.
Fish spent many years advocating and protecting victims of domestic violence and human trafficking.

She leaves behind her two daughters and her grandchildren.
