The holidays may be just around the corner, but for some – it’s just too soon for Santa to leave his toy factory in the North Pole.

No matter what you may think of the timing, Santa was taking pictures with children Saturday at the Yonkers Cross County Shopping Center.

"It's too fast, way too fast,” says Ewelina Kochanska, of Yonkers. “It’s about two months until Christmas.”

There were plenty of early holiday season supporters in shopping center, including Jenice Ruperto, from the Bronx.

“It's a time for family. It's a time for friends. It's a time for sharing, it's all about the love and why not extend that time, you know?” Ruperto says.
