Veterans Day is Nov. 11 and schools across the nation are celebrating in a big way.
"Take a Vet to School" day honors service members by letting them share their experiences and spending the day with students and staff in schools.
At Columbus Elementary School in Thornwood, more than 50 veterans will participate in the special day.
