Sports Rush: Class B High School Football playoffs
The finals of the Class B High School Football championship has been set.
In the first semifinal, the Ardsley Panthers got great offense from Jalen Leonard Osborne and timely defense from Griffin Buckland as they defeated Westlake 24-10.
The defending Class B champs are heading back to the section finals to take on Byram Hills.
In the other Class B semifinal, Byram Hills took on Pearl River and the Bobcats came out hungry.
Junior Matt Weiler finished with 170 yards rushing and two TDs, and Daniel Ahern had two interceptions as Byram Hills rolls to the section final winning 39-14.
It will be the Bobcats and the Panthers at Mahopac 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
In Class C playoff action, Dobbs Ferry got a big game from Harry Dann as the Eagles won a nail biter against Woodlands 27-26. The Eagles will take on Valhalla on Saturday at 11 a.m.
