The man that some people have called an "icon of Westchester" has passed away.
Ralph Martinelli was the publisher of Westchester Magazine and the son of the longest serving mayor of Yonkers.
His family confirmed to News 12 that he died Saturday night. The Ossining resident was 57.

He started events like the popular Burger and Beer Blast - a part of his magazine's Wine and Food Festival.
Those who knew Martinelli say that for every event he planned, he found a way to give back.
Martinelli sat on the Board of Directors for Arts Westchester and was a strong supporter of the Food Bank for Westchester.
His father, Angelo Martinelli, was once the longtime mayor of Yonkers.  He's also one of six brothers, including a former city council president and a city court judge.
