Football teams honor player killed in car crash

A community is remembering a Pearl River football player who was killed in a car crash.
Two rival football teams came together Saturday to show support and love for 17-year-old Altin Nezaj. He was killed last Sunday in a car crash.
In the bleachers Saturday was a wave of blue with spectators wearing shirts with No. 71 on the back -- Nezaj's football jersey number.
Pearl River High School's flag now flying half-staff as No. 71 also displays on the school's electronic sign.
Nezaj's head coach says it's incredible to see everyone support him and his family.
His two brothers say that seeing all the support they are receiving from people they know and many people they don't know has helped them through this absolutely difficult time.
More than 1,000 shirts were sold in Nezaj's memory. A GoFundMe page has also raised more than $50,000 for the family.
