A worker was fatally crushed by a truck in Orange County.
The Woodbury Fire Department says the accident happened Tuesday at the Woodbury Commons Shopping Outlet.
Officials tell News 12 that Habram Castillo, 40, of New York City, was delivering product to the Tory Burch store from a New York City warehouse.
As Castillo was trying to guide the truck into the loading area, he was accidentally pinned between the vehicle and the loading dock by the driver.
Police say a paramedic who was shopping inside Tory Burch tried to render immediate aid before first responders arrived. Castillo was taken by helicopter to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Police say the driver is a 19-year-old from Newburgh, whose name is not yet being released. He was ticketed for "unsafe backing" - a violation.
The incident is still under investigation but is being considered a tragic accident at this time.
