Police: 1 injured, several without power after car crashes into pole

Posted: Updated:

Police say a one-car crash in Yonkers injured one person and left several others without power Tuesday evening.

Officials say the crash occurred at the intersection of Nepperhan and Odell avenues just before 6 p.m.

They say the driver ran into a pole, which caused heavy damage and a power outage in the area.

Con Edison says all power has since been restored to dozens of affected customers.

Police did not reveal the extent of the driver’s injuries.
