Health officials: International traveler brought measles back to Rockland

Posted: Updated:

An international traveler brought measles back to Rockland, according to the county Health Department.

They say the person visited Congregation Khal Torath Viznitz in Monsey.

Anyone visiting on Friday, Sept. 20 from 9-10 p.m. or 12-1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 may be at risk of exposure.

The Rockland Health Department is once again reminding residents to get vaccinated.

Last week, the department declared the outbreak was over.
