Far out: Girls grill astronaut orbiting in space

A group of girls had the chance to ask questions to an astronaut aboard the International Space Station.
The Ramapo Challenger Center hosted a live conversation between students in the "sci-girls in space" program and Kristina Koch, an astronaut who is orbiting in space.
The girls were able to ask about what it's like to live in space and the research she’s conducting.
It’s all part of a program geared toward empowering girls to pursue science, technology, engineering and math.
Koch will return to earth in 2020 and will make history for the longest space flight completed by a female astronaut.
