SIX FLAGS AMERICA (Upper Marlboro, MD) - The park is partnering with Give Kids The World Village – a central Florida based nonprofit that fulfills wishes for critically ill children and their families – to stage a Coasting for Kids event on National Roller Coaster Day. Participants who raise – or donate – at least $100 in support of Give Kids The World Village will receive special Coasting for Kids passes, giving them access to exclusive perks at the park they choose to visit. All money raised by participants will help Give Kids The World provide free, week-long dream vacations to critically ill children and their families. SIX FLAGS NEW ENGLAND (Agawam, MA) - DISCOUNT OR FREE ADMISSION!* Six Flags New England is hosting its annual National Roller Coaster Day on Friday, August 16. The Thrill Capital of New England is home to 13 roller coasters and takes great pride in National Roller Coaster Day. *Six Flags New England is partnering with the United Way of Pioneer Valley to help “keep kids on track” this school year. Guests who bring in six-19 school supply items, will receive an entry coupon for $20.19. Guests who donate 20 or more items will receive FREE admission to the park. NOTE: Free admission to the park is valid on August 16, 2019 only! All school supplies collected will be donated to the United Way of Pioneer Valley’s annual “Stuff the Bus” campaign. This program supports students who are homeless in the Springfield and Holyoke region and provides them with access to everything they need to start a successful school year. This year, the United Way and Six Flags New England are going big as they anticipate thousands of donations. The United Way of Pioneer Valley will provide over two thousand backpacks to students who are homeless throughout the area. The Coaster Capital of New England and United Way are passionate about education and are committed to “keeping kids on track” for the coming school year.
