Local and county police step up patrols in wake of mass shootings

Local and county police are stepping up patrols in the wake of the deadly mass shootings in Dayton and El Paso.
In a statement, Westchester County Police say, "Although there is no indication of any threats in this region, Westchester County Police are also assessing the need for increased patrols in Mount Kisco and Cortlandt, the two communities where the County Police provide municipal police service."
Westchester residents are also coming together to remember the victims.
A vigil will take place tonight at 7 p.m. in front of the first Baptist Church of White Plains.
