Dive teams have recovered the body of a kayaker in Lake Mahopac.

Investigators began scouring the lake Monday afternoon after receiving a call that Richard Dudyshyn, 55, of Mahopac, was missing.

A short time later, they found Dudyshyn’s overturned kayak, and then recovered his body.

Police say he drowned, although it's unclear what went wrong.
