Heavy rains bring relief to some Dobbs Ferry residents

Monday's powerful storms brought some relief to Dobbs Ferry residents after a weekend of extreme heat.
Flooding will be a major concern across the Hudson Valley following the powerful thunderstorms.
The heavy rain and thunderstorms brought strong winds and flooding. The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for northern Westchester until Tuesday morning.
News 12 meteorologists advise people to stay off the roads, if possible. If you have to drive, take it slow and beware of your surroundings.
Some residents hope the mugginess and humidity will hopefully be cut in half by the rain.
Melissa Goldberg, of Dobbs Ferry says, "Its OK to have the rain if it's going to cool off the heat and humidity."
