NANUET -

The heat may be to blame for some power outages across the Hudson Valley.

Orange and Rockland says since noon on Friday, about 900 customers have experienced a heat-related electrical outage.

Crews have restored service to those customers and remain prepared with extra crews to respond and repair service as needed.

Officials say Saturday's power demand ranks number three on all-time Saturday records.

If you have a power outage, you can report it to Orange and Rockland online, through the mobile app and texting or calling the utility.
