Federal agents are expected to begin nationwide deportation raids Sunday, and a White Plains attorney wants people to know their rights.
President Donald Trump says he is following through with his promise to deport people who he says are in the United States illegally.
It is reported that Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents will target up to 10 cities nationwide, including New York City. It is not clear who ICE will be targeting.
Chris Cabanillas, who has an office in White Plains, says it's important to remember that anyone targeted has the right to remain silent.
"If you're not the person that they're targeting, then have some identification on you to show you are, in fact, not that person," he told News 12.
