Hundreds of Yonkers students graduated high school Sunday at the Westchester County Center.
Graduates said they are going to miss all of their friends and teachers.
"All the teachers and principals--they helped us to bring us where were at now," said David Pennant.
A $1.22 billion budget plan includes efforts to rebuild schools and buy new technology without any cuts to staffing.
City officials say they also want to add programs and keep existing ones.
The new budget goes into effect July 1 and officials are hoping the plan will help more students graduate.
