The early summer season has begun at Glen Island Beach in New Rochelle just in time for Memorial Day weekend.
To get into the beach visitors must have a county park pass or proof of county residency with a valid New York state driver’s license.
From Saturday, May 25 to June 23, Glen Island Beach is only open on the weekends from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., except for Memorial Day.
Starting June 28, the hours will get a little more flexible. There are daily entrance and parking fees at Glen Island.
