New York Times journalist tells Sarah Lawrence class of 2019 to find their truth, take risks

The class of 2019 graduated Sarah Lawrence College on Friday.

Commencement speaker Maggie Haberman, a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist for The New York Times and Sarah Lawrence alumna, encouraged graduates to find their truth and take risks. Haberman graduated in 1996.

Haberman told students that she has learned to deal with all kinds of people throughout her career and keeps one goal in mind: to capture objective truth for those reading her work.
