An Orange County father is desperately pleading for information that could lead to an arrest in a hit-and-run road rage accident that killed his daughter five years ago.
The incident that claimed the life of 27-year-old Tiffany Lesane occurred in 2013 on I-84 in Middletown.
Her father, Terry Lesane, says witnesses reported seeing his daughter cut off by a woman in a sky-blue Dodge Caliber, causing Tiffany's Ford Focus to hit a median and flip over several times with her 9-year-old son inside.
Tiffany was ejected from the car and killed. Her young son survived.
Lesane says police were able to find a suspect thanks to surveillance video and a partial plate number given by witnesses.
However, the woman was not arrested, and police say there's still no new information on the case.
Lesane is once again asking for the public's help.
"Have a heart. I mean, we miss her. Just have a heart," he told News 12. "If the troopers or investigators can get any more [information] from anyone, it'd be helpful."
News 12 reached out to the district's attorney's office for comment, but has not heard back.
