Mount Vernon mayor expected at White Plains court in larceny case

The mayor of Mount Vernon is expected back in a White Plains courtroom later today in connection to grand larceny charges against him.
Mayor Richard Thomas was indicted by the State Attorney General's office last year. He is accused of stealing thousands of dollars from his campaign and inauguration accounts, and using the money for personal expenses.

Mayor Thomas has denied the charges.
