An Orange County home was destroyed in an early morning fire Wednesday.
Viewer video captured the flames at 250 Schunnemunk Road just after 9 a.m. in Monroe.
Officials say the house was fully engulfed in smoke and flames when they arrived. They believe the house may have been vacant and say an investigation into the cause is currently underway.
Fire officials say no one was hurt.
The small home on a large lot is in an area now up for annexation under a proposal for a new Hasidic village called Seven Springs.
Authorities did bring in arson dogs, and say neighbors spotted the homeowner on the property moments before the fire. He was at the scene as firefighters doused hotspots, but declined to comment.
Officials are not implying any wrongdoing at this time.
