A popular dog made a pit stop in Rye Brook on Tuesday to help raise money for a local dog rescue.

Milk, also known as Milk Pom Star on Instagram, was at the Mixology clothing store.

The store is donating a portion of its sales to the Wagging Tails Dog Rescue, a group that helps dogs in need.

The group’s officials say it costs Wagging Tails a lot of money to transport the dogs, with some coming from other countries. "They go see a veterinarian so we have veterinarian costs. Sometimes we have dogs that do have medical issues that need to be attended to so we will never not provide the medical care that an animal needs," says Jodi Roth, a volunteer at Wagging Tails Dog Rescue.
