Westchester doctor: Children who have received MMR vaccine can safely visit Rockland

The Westchester Health Commissioner is offering guidance to worried parents whose kids have to travel to Rockland County in the middle of a measles outbreak.

The Westchester Health Commissioner is offering guidance to worried parents whose kids have to travel to Rockland County in the middle of a measles outbreak.
Last week, the Rye JV baseball team moved a game from Nyack to Rye because of the state of emergency in place in Rockland County.
Dr. Sherlita Amler says children who have received the MMR vaccine can safely visit Rockland. 
Dr. Amler says parents of unvaccinated children should make it a priority for their kids to get the MMR vaccine.
