Tappan man pleads guilty to planning attack on D.C.Posted: Updated:
A Rockland County man has admitted to his part in a planned Election Day attack in Washington, D.C.
Paul Rosenfeld has pleaded guilty to creating and transporting an explosive. Investigators say he planned to blow himself up on the National Mall last November.
Rosenfeld conducted several tests, setting off small explosions in the basement of his Tappan home.
He faces up to 20 years in prison when he is sentenced in May.
