Armonk hit with 11 inches of snowPosted: Updated:
Armonk was one of the hardest hit areas of Westchester this snowstorm, with 11 inches of snow.
Most communities in the Hudson Valley got anywhere from about 4 to 10 inches, and many homeowners learned the hard way that getting rid of it is back-breaking work because it’s so heavy.
Some people thought the winter wonderland was a welcome sight.
“It’s great, we haven't had much snow this year so it’s great for the kids,” said Javier Logano, of Ossining.
Paul Tkach, 83, wasn’t as happy. He spent the day shoveling and contemplating his life choices.
“I didn't like it, I belong in Florida,” he says.
