A busy road in Rye Brook is back open this morning after a car slammed into a utility pole late Sunday night.

Police say the car struck the pole on Lincoln Avenue and Talcott Road. The pole was knocked down and live wires were dangling across the road.

Con Ed was on the scene quickly, performing repairs throughout the night.

There is no word yet what caused the accident.
