Corporations choosing to do business in Westchester now have a luxurious option to travel.
Million Air had its grand opening Thursday evening in a new private terminal, which is meant to give off a luxury resort feel.
This 22,000-square-foot facility is part of a $70 million project to make upgrades to the companies facilities at Westchester County Airport, including adding a 50,000-square-foot hangar that opened last year.
The company's CEO says it was needed to hold more aircraft.
The private terminal comes with upgrades like a coffee bar and indoor valet for rainy or bitterly cold winter days. It also has conference rooms.
Million Air CEO Roger Woolsey says the new facility is needed as more corporations do business in Westchester.
"If you have a Fortune 100, Fortune 500 investment firm flying in to do business, this is the first impression. It's like driving into the neighborhood. This airport is setting the tone for the business or for the vacation is about to begin in this community,” says Woolsey.
