Residents across Hudson Valley continue to struggle with arctic temperatures

LARCHMONT -

Residents across the Hudson Valley are continuing to struggle with potentially dangerous cold temperatures Friday.

Commuters at the Larchmont train station say they were waiting in their warm cars until the last minute to get on the train so that they didn't have to stand in the cold.

Health experts recommend anyone who has to be outside, even for a short period of time, to wear a lot of layers.

News 12 meteorologists say that the weekend should have milder temperatures, with the high being 36 degrees on Saturday and 46 degrees on Sunday.
