MIDDLETOWN -

A person was found stabbed in a quiet neighborhood in Middletown Wednesday.

Police say a stabbing victim was found on Heidt Avenue, located between Orange Community College and Route 17M just before 3 p.m.

Neighbors told News 12 they heard the incident may have been drug-related.

K-9 units visited a nearby QuikChek store, reportedly looking for surveillance video related to the incident. State police also say they are looking for a vehicle related to the crime with a license plate traced to a Spring Valley address.

The owner of the driveway where the victim was found was shocked to find blood on his front lawn. Others who live nearby say they are frightened for their welfare.
