Orange County residents experienced some light snowfall throughout the day Tuesday, but that didn't stop some districts from closing schools or dismissing early.
During the day, roads were clear and traffic was moving as usual in Chester. It was the same in the Village of Florida.
A winter weather advisory remains in effect for the Hudson Valley until later tonight with 3-6 inches of accumulation expected until midnight.
A stretch of extremely cold air is expected to follow the snowfall. Forecasters say temperatures will be in the single-digits Wednesday and below-zero on Thursday.
