First responders rescue driver from rollover crash

POMONA -

A female driver had to be extricated after her car rolled over and struck a telephone pole this morning in Pomona.

Police say the crash happened just before 4:30 a.m. on Route 202 between Camp Hill Road and Route 306.

Ramapo police say when they responded to the one-car crash they found the driver trapped inside.

There is no word yet what caused the crash or if any charges have been filed.

Orange & Rockland Utilities is replacing the pole.
