Medical emergency and car crash results in death of Newburgh man
A medical emergency and a car crash resulted in the death of a Newburgh man Thursday.
Authorities say it was around 5:30 p.m. when Don A. Tuangtuang, 62, was driving a 2002 Chevrolet pickup on Church Street, when he went through the intersection with Main Street without stopping and ultimately struck a stone wall and the building at 1140 Main St.
Upon arrival, firefighters say CPR was being performed the victim. Tuangtuang was transported to St. Luke's Hospital in Newburgh where he was later pronounced dead.
Police did not indicate what the medical emergency was.
