A memorial has been set up to pay tribute to a man who was found dead behind a Greenburgh deli Friday night.
Greenburgh police say the body of Miguel Cedillo was found behind the deli and some apartments on Russell Street and Aqueduct Road.
They say they received a 911 call just before 6 p.m. saying a man had cut himself with a knife.
One witness says he saw the body and attempted to see if the person was still alive.
“I see blood coming out, I had to walk over and I went over and I kicked him, reached for his pulse...nothing...body was cold. Done,” says the witness, who did not want to be identified.
Emergency responders tried to revive Cedillo upon arrival, but were unsuccessful.

Police have ruled out homicide as a possible cause of death. They say it appears Cedillo might have died from a self-inflicted wound but are still awaiting autopsy results.
Cedillo’s family and friends have since laid flowers, candles and beer in his honor.
Greenburgh detectives are asking anyone with information concerning this investigation to contact them as soon as possible.
