SAUGERTIES -

Saugerties police say they arrested a woman on Friday after she destroyed a tire compressor at the Speedway gas station on Route 212 and shoved an officer.

Police say 41-year-old Stacey Pelton crashed into a parked car, then hit the tire compressor.

When police went to arrest Pelton, they say she cursed at them and shoved an officer.

While being booked, they say Pelton smashed a breathalyzer instrument valued at over $20,000.

Pelton has been charged with resisting arrest and driving while intoxicated. She has also had her license revoked.
