An honors chorus from a Catholic school in Rockland County is the latest winner in News 12’s Sounds of the Season.

Beautiful harmonization may be one of the best ways to describe the elite group of performers who audition to be a part of the Albertus Magnus High School honors chorus, known as "Veritas."

Fourteen talented 10th through 12th-graders make up the select group of singers, and they take their performances very seriously. “Christmas songs are actually my favorite songs and working together, making harmonies when it sounds good, putting all the work in,” says Lori Laurore.

Their work is now being recognized, as the students land the top spot in the News 12’s Sounds of the Season series, earning over 19,000 votes. “We just kept spreading around the word to get us nominated for it and once we were nominated, it was stressful because votes were neck and neck with other schools and people, so it was a lot of work, but it paid off,” says Faith Metclaf.

Below are their performances!

'White Winter Hymnal'

 'Carol of the Bells'

'Mary Had a Baby'
