Commuters in Rockland County say the TOR bus service has been a nightmare the past month.

They say that there are often times the bus is delayed by an hour or the bus doesn't show up at all. Many residents say they've signed up for the bus service alert system but don't receive notifications and are often times left waiting for a bus that will never show up.

"This has never happened before. It's the same schedule, same bus drivers," says Kayla Spearman of Nanuet.

The Rockland County Department of Public Transportation says that the TOR bus system has partnered with a new operator in the last 41 days and they've run into several challenges they are now addressing.
