Police: 12-year-olds allegedly set fires throughout Chatham

Two 12-year-olds have been charged with arson after allegedly setting multiple fires throughout Chatham.

State police say they responded to two separate fires on Friday.

They say one was a brush fire at the Columbia County Fairgrounds. Less than two hours later, there was another brush fire found outside the Rite Aid on Coleman Street. 

After an investigation, state police say they found the two responsible for setting several fires that evening.
