A Port Chester woman is accused of driving while under the influence after allegedly striking a tow truck, the tow truck's driver and a police car.
Greenburgh police say they were investigating a car accident just before 4 a.m. Saturday on Tarrytown Road, when Mayra Zamano struck the driver’s side of a responding tow truck and the driver as he was getting out.
They say she continued driving and slammed into the back of a police vehicle, causing it to crash into a car from the original accident.
The tow operator, police officer and Zamano were all taken to Westchester Medical Center for their injuries.
The 26-year-old was charged with DWI and failing to yield to an emergency vehicle.
