A lost wallet that belonged to actress Diane Keaton is the talk of the country, and a Dutchess County man is the person behind finding it.

Anton Lulgjuraj, of Hopewell Junction, is a self-described treasure hunter. He made a big find in a storage unit he bought at an auction in Brewster.

In it, he discovered Keaton's wallet from 50 years ago. The wallet contained her 1966 driver's license, Social Security card and another ID. He also found many family photos from when Keaton was young.

Lulgjuraj says he tried to contact the actress in June on social media. He did not hear back from her until the New York Daily News just ran the story. With plenty of attention on the story, she tweeted him thanks, adding she would love the wallet back.

“You took something from 1967 and put away and just left it there. That's a glimpse of her life, and I was fortunate enough to look at it myself," says Lulgjuraj.

Lulgjuraj says he mailed the wallet back to Keaton's attorney in Los Angeles Tuesday.
