Police: Driver hits utility worker, another vehicle before fleeing in Yonkers

Police say a driver hit a Con Edison utility worker and crashed into another vehicle in Yonkers before trying to get away from authorities Monday afternoon.
Daniel Napoletano, who owns an auto shop on Warburton Avenue, says the driver seemed to be moving fast and erratically down the road before hitting the worker. Police say the worker was not seriously hurt but the driver didn't stop and took off down North Broadway.
A traffic officer stationed at a construction site called in backup. Police say the driver refused commands to pull over and crashed into a Honda on Executive Boulevard.
Authorities say the driver then got out of the car and ran into a parking lot before being taken into custody.
The driver and two others were taken to the hospital.
Police say the driver could face criminal charges.
